SEMAGLUTIDE INJECTIONS FOR WEIGHT LOSS
SEMAGLUTIDE INJECTIONS FOR WEIGHT LOSS
Being overweight can put you in risk for serious health conditions that impact your quality of life. If you are tired of struggling with obesity, Semglutide weight loss injections can help.
Semaglutide was originally developed for diabetic patients and is sold currently under different brand names, like Ozempic and Wegovy. It’s now FDA approved for chronic weight management and have been clinically proven to help overweight adults, with or without other weight-related conditions, to successfully lose weight.
Semaglutide is the latest addition to our family of health-enhancing products at B Medical Spa and it’s provided under the medical supervision of Dr. Nadine Haddad, who is board certified in obesity medicine.
WHAT IS SEMAGLUTIDE AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
Sublingual Semaglutide is a medication that mimics a digestive hormone called glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1).The drug works in different ways:
- By stimulating a hormone called insulin that lowers the amount of sugar in your blood stream after you eat.
- It slows the movement of food through your stomach which helps you to stay full longer.
- It sends a signal to your brain when you have reached satiety, to help regulate appetite and food intake.
Oral Semaglutide is administrated daily for as long as necessary to help the recipients achieve their weight loss goals. To minimize side effects on the gastrointestinal tract, the dose is gradually increased over the course of 16 to 20 weeks until it reaches appropriate maximum dose.
SEMAGLUTIDE'S WEIGHT LOSS PROPERTIES
Semaglutide helps you lose weight by:
- Reducing appetite
- Suppressing hunger pangs
- Regulating blood sugar
- Slowing digestion
- Increasing sensations of satiety
When taken in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise, Semaglutide can support healthy long-term weight
loss.
Because Semaglutide mimics a digestive hormone, the most common semaglutide weight loss side effects involve the digestive system. They include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, stomach pain, indigestion, and gassiness.
Diabetics may experience low blood sugar.
Dosage should be increased gradually over several weeks, to minimize uncomfortable side effects.
Semaglutide is not recommended for people with a medical or family history of thyroid cancer, or for those with a rare condition called multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN2).
